The most important person in my life, since the day I was born, has been my Mother.  She is my best friend, my wisest advisor, my free therapist and the most amazing person I have ever known.  She has the uncanny ability to find the very best in every one she meets and always makes lemonade out of every lemon that life may throw her way.  Being positive at all times and having the ability to make everything a fun adventure are just a very small part of what makes her a truly remarkable person. Recently I ordered a Video Biography for her to document some of our important family history. Towards the end, she was asked to talk about each of her children, and the video below is the segment about me.  Choosing a Realtor® is a big decision, and it's important to me that my clients know who I am and what I'm about - no one can tell you better than my Mother, Dell Pettigrew.

Carol is the newest member of our family.  She was born and raised in Northeast Texas where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing at Texas A&M University-Commerce.  Carol and her husband, Micah, moved to Tyler from Austin five years ago. They love spending time together enjoying the outdoors with their two dogs, and also relish the live music scene of East Texas.

Jamie is Texas born and bred. She was raised in tiny (but now booming) Mixon, just 30 minutes from Tyler. She attended Tyler Junior College to develop her skills in graphic design.  Prior to joining the Pamela Walters Group, Jamie was the MLS Coordinator for the Greater Tyler Association of Realtors, where she was responsible for helping over 1,150 members to use the computerized MLS system more effectively.  She was also responsible for Membership, Training and Tech Support. Prior to that, she worked as a cartographer for National Map. Her graphic design and cartography skills, not to mention her previous position with GTAR, make her a valuable addition to the team.  Jamie says she joined the Pamela Walters Group because Pamela is "great, fun, exciting, upbeat, a character, and challenging."  Jamie is married and has two children, aged 13 and 16.

Julia moved to Tyler in 1981 with her husband and three girls and was a stay-at-home mom until the girls all went off to the University of Texas in Austin. She began working, first in the family's computer software business then with a tennis friend in a State Farm office before joining Pamela's successful real estate firm. The things important to her over the years have been her family, her home and tennis. 

She met Pamela on the tennis court ... their team went to USTA Nationals in 1998 at the 4.0 level. They discovered a shared passion for gardening and home decorating and became fast friends off the court, too. Each has a strong respect for the others good taste, interpersonal skills and excellent accomplishments in everything they work to achieve. Julia and Pamela also share a high-energy approach to life which helps them finish everything they start.

All of Julia's friends admire the excellence of her home's design and decoration and her impressive hands-on accomplishments in her garden. Julia has applied these skills, along with her innate good taste and empathy with the needs and wants of others, to her real estate career.

Paula is another strong people person on our team.  She brings a Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Northwestern State University and over ten years of progressive experience in Sales and Sales Management.  Growing up in a military family gave Paula the opportunity to live in Alaska, Louisiana, Florida, and New York.  This is the third time she has returned to live in Tyler, and she says this time she's making Tyler her permanent home for herself and her ten year old son, Broque.

Paula's attraction to working in real estate is the personal satisfaction she gets from helping home buyers work through all the issues and details to get their dream homes.  In addition to her home buyer activity, Paula is also responsible for supervising our entire buyer sales team to ensure that they provide all the close follow up our clients deserve.

 Paul has been a Tyler resident for the past 37 years.  He was a home builder for 18 years and in education for 11 years.  For the last 6 years he has been in residential real estate and property management.  He brings a Bachelor's degree in Education and a Master's degree in Educational Administration to the group.  Paul has a Broker's license and GRI.  He teaches an adult Bible class at West Erwin Church of Christ.

Paul and his wife Carolyn have 5 children and 10 grandchildren.  Carolyn also owns Style Salon and Day Spa. Paul's goal in real estate is to assist buyers and sellers in realizing their real estate dreams.

Kristy moved to Tyler 15 years ago from the Dallas area.   She brings with her a Degree in Fashion and Art from Stephen F. Austin and an extensive background in Sales and Marketing.  In her spare time, when she is not busy raising her two beautiful children ages 9 and 7, she enjoys making jewelry.  Kristy prides herself in being honest, approachable and structured, stating “Everyone can fit in a box.  You just have to find the right one for them.”   She understands what attributes makes a house a home and loves helping people find the right fit for them.
